	As a Malaysia-born Chinese and multilingual, Follen's appreciation for diversity and cultural experiences drives her to connect with people and uncover the human truth behind every creative idea. Having worked on just about everything from online to offline, Follen honed a hybrid set of skills that make her a multidisciplinary creative. 
Follen believes that great creative ideas have the power to transcend cultures, which led her to relocate to Shanghai and join Wieden+Kennedy in 2013. In 2020, she stepped up to the role of Associate Creative Director, leading creative efforts for clients such as OMEN by HP, Tommy Hilfiger, Durex, and The Woolmark Company. When you don't see her at her workstation, she's probably hiding somewhere, getting her hands dirty with mud&#38;nbsp;@follen.see&#38;nbsp;︎︎︎&#38;nbsp;This is where you get to meet the mischievous side of her.Follen is also a baguette enthusiast and a self-taught professional baguette baker. She loves to craft artistically pleasing (and equally tasty) baguettes that impress her mom. Occasionally, she writes short poems to express her love for baguettes. To bring the benefits of PC gaming to light in experiential, W+K and HP OMEN chose the biggest gaming moment of the year in Asia, ChinaJoy, to launch the campaign with THE GAMEWAVES SCANNER. Created in collaboration with North Kingdom, the experience used cutting-edge brain-scan technology that measured brainwaves to create a live performance projected across screens, powered by the minds of gamers. For the first time ever, the world was given a window into the gamer’s mind to see how gaming improves skills such as teamwork, focus, mental stamina, responsiveness, memory, and even creativity.

What’s a Swedish Chinese New Year look like? We made some fantastic lions from the IKEAS's iconic FRAKTA bag that have been dancing their way through our office and 58 IKEA stores across China spreading CNY charm and warmth.In addition to the bag itself, many precious materials, intricate craftsmanship and man hours were required to create each lion costume. It was important for us to strike a balance between authentic craftsmanship and fresh novelty when creating the FRAKTA LEJON.

In the game world, you’re not defined by how you look. You’re defined by how you play. World renowned League of Legends Korea champions T1 (Faker, Gumayusi, Keria, Oner and Zeus) are a testament to this philosophy. Their skills have inspired the world. They’ve shown that it can transform even the most average looking guys into an incredible force to be reckoned with.The campaign is entitled ‘SKILLS DEFINE WHO YOU ARE’. A five part series of films and key visuals that highlight skill over physical stereotypes. The campaign launches in conjunction with the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK).


On the outside, they look like everyday normal Korean kids. But on the inside, their skill level will show you an entirely different story.These key visuals feature the League of Legends Korea champions T1. We highlight the contrast between the outer appearance and inner skill of gamers.

		<description>You Can’t Mask A Smile

W+K SHANGHAISPRING 2020
The world has been turned upside down by the outbreak of COVID-19 and masks are now a daily essential. We took a series of fun and quirky portraits that showed people wearing masks and smiling from ear to ear, but the smiling faces weren’t their own. The portraits are a combination of our lovely W+K colleagues wearing masks that feature smiles from different faces throughout the building. Once the portraits were complete, we posted the mashups all over the Shanghai office building to share with the neighborhood and hopefully pass on more and more smiles.

We also invited friends from businesses in the neighborhood to participate and create their own You Can’t Mask A Smile portraits. 
To spread the smiles even more, we created the hashtags #罩样笑# on Weibo (China's Twitter) and #youcantmaskasmile on Instagram as well as a filter. 
So far, we had over 4.5 million views on Weibo and counting!Masks might be a requirement, but they can’t mask our smiles.

And one day, we were picked up by a high school teacher and used as an example of staying optimistic. 
It was a nice surprise.

Fall 2022, we leveraged Premier League and NBA moments to promote how Durex PERFORMA can make sex last longer. With a simple truth: In sports matches, when the final whistle / buzzer goes off, there’s always someone who didn’t get enough. In sex, when men come, sex is over. Women don’t get enough. Durex PERFORMA keeps the game going.
